How to have landscape and portrait pages in Microsoft Words
Recently, I have came across doing my thesis for the final trimester. The data analysis or the so called methodology part consisted of many tables to be included. If you have the same problem as me while doing your thesis, you may be wondering how on earth to set the Table into landscape from portrait page. The problem is my thesis will consist mostly of portrait pages but the tables due to large amount of columns have to be fitted into landscape pages.
This small write up is how i set my whole thesis’s table into landscape pages but remained the other pages into its default portrait page.
Just follow the few steps and you will have landscacpe and portrait pages in a document of Microsoft Words. Let’s experience it….
Step 1
In Microsoft Work 2007, choose page layout menu option.
Step 2
Click on Margins under page setup of the page layout button.
Step 3
Choose CUSTOM MARGINS under the margins button.
Step 4
On the pop up dialog box, you will be able to set a specified page margin and most importantly our write up objective is to set the specified page to landscape from portrait.
Step 5
Under orientation, choose landscape and under “apply to” choose this point forward. Make sure you are at the point whereby you wan to change that page to landscape. Your cursor has to be selected there. Another way is to select the title or text from that page. Under “apply to” and choose “selected text” instead.
That’s all and you may repeat this process to apply portrait pages after the landscape page.
